2023 Tonale is Alfa’s first luxury hybrid SUV
The Tonale, Alfa Romeo’s first plug-in hybrid SUV, promises to bring the sporty flavor of its cars to the SUV world. Inside the Tonale, you’ll see the dash of a classic Italian sports car, complete with dual circular gauges, reimagined on a digital screen, flanked by two turbine-like hatches. The seats are deeply bolstered and contrast stitching is repeated throughout the dashboard material. But the Tonale is all about power, and that engine will have 285 horsepower and an electric range of 30 miles, just like its sister Dodge Hornet.

BMW XM brings new BMW exoticism to this 2023 luxury hybrid SUV
Sure, it looks weird. But the car’s gigantic grille is your first hint that this SUV has something special under the hood. And indeed, it is. The XM is BMW’s first uber-performance SUV with a hybrid powertrain, connected to a truly powerful twin-turbo V8 with a total of 644 horsepower.
This two-row SUV is all-new, although it looks a lot like the three-row X7. The 2023 XM comes in two versions, more expensive and pricier, with the base model starting at $160,000, while the special Red Label gets 735 horsepower and a $26,000 price increase. We think XM is the first to boast BMW’s next evolution in its styling, with its bold creases and broad shoulders.

Drive through just about any suburb and you’ll see dozens of Lexus SUVs, which is no surprise as they are the brand’s bestsellers. . Lexus for 2023 and added the new Lexus Plus 3.0 safety system, new F Sport handling package, and updated styling.
It comes standard with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. But, you can order it in hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. The new model has a longer wheelbase, which should help with stability, but it’s the same length as the previous version, which should help with parking.
The Lexus RZ is new, too, but it’s not a hybrid. Instead, the Lexus RZ is Lexus’ first battery-powered electric vehicle. It’s basically the luxury version of the Toyota BZ4X and Subaru Solterra, which all share the same platform.
