5 of Our Favorite Features on the 2023 Lexus RX 350h It’s brand new for 2023, and we’re honored to be able to drive it. Lexus handed us a pre-production model, which hasn’t been fully smoothed yet, but has all the features we needed to properly test the car. Here are our five favorites so far.

1. The 2023 Lexus RX 350h exterior aesthetics is more pleasing to the eye

The 2023 RX 350h has a smoother, more eye-catching exterior aesthetic. The controversial “spin grille” is still there, but it’s more integrated into the front bumper for a sleeker look. We also like the wraparound taillight and the bold fenders, which give the car a more futuristic look.
, which helps with parallel and rear cornering in tight spaces. The system controls steering, brakes, and gear shifting when parking, making the experience hands-free for the driver. We were able to take advantage of this feature several times successfully, making the RX corner not a problem when driving in the city.
3. The new 14-inch screen is a welcome addition to the Lexus RX line
The previous generation Lexus RX had to be controlled with a knob in the center console. It wasn’t hard to use, but it was annoying. Fortunately, the 2023 RX uses a touchscreen that’s easily accessible from the driver and passenger seats, and is easy to see. This is mainly due to its sheer size – measuring 14.1 inches diagonally.
4. Convenient back seat area
One of our favorite features is the RX’s rear seat area. The rear seat can comfortably accommodate up to three people and comes with its own HVAC controls. These controls include cabin temperature adjustments as well as heated/ventilated seat buttons. Moreover, the backs of the rear seats can recline by an appropriate amount, which makes long trips more comfortable for rear passengers.
5. The 2.5L hybrid system is very fuel efficient

Finally, we really like the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid’s 2.5-liter system. It punches 246 horsepower, and is capable of up to 37 EPA mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. In our real-world tests so far, we’ve managed to average 35 mpg, which is exceptional for an SUV of this size.
Our favorite Lexus RX 2023 features
There is a lot to love about the all-new 2023 Lexus RX, including the way it is driven. It’s smooth, spacious, and comfortable, but it also has a lot of great features. Although there are many features that we can point out, these five features are the most unique to us.
However, we can also note that the new Mark Levinson 21-speaker sound system is really nice too. If you’re shopping for a Lexus, we can’t recommend the RX 350h enough. The Japanese automaker did a great job this time around, even if the model we’re driving is a pre-production unit.
